Ways on keeping your carpet looking beautiful and clean
One of the biggest investments we make when we buy a house is with the flooring. Not only is it one of the biggest investments but it is also something that makes a big impact. It provides a major impact because it is all over your home. If you have carpeting, I’m assuming you’d want to take very good care of it.Because if you don’t bother with it, your major investment could go down the drain. Here are some options you can follow to make sure your carpets stay looking beautiful and new.
First and foremost, what you need to do is institute a good cleaning program. What that means is you must have a regular timetable for carpet cleaning. Your carpet is something you walk all over all day so it makes sense that it would get dirt. The nice part about that is if you do regular cleaning you can usually get better prices from carpet cleaners. At least that is one benefit I give my regular customers of my San Diego carpet cleaning business.
The next thing you have to do is apply some protective sealant on it. There are many brands out there but the most effective one is Scotch Guard. It encapsulates your carpet with a protective coat, makin it more impenetrable to stains. This is like having an insurance policy on your carpets. In my carpet cleaning Point Loma company we always apply Scotch Guard to all of our jobs.
Finally a good habit to keep is to vacuum your carpets frequently. You would be astounded at how many people don’t vacuum on habitual basis. But if you don’t vacuum habitually you provide a good environment for dirt and germs to accumulate. I always suggest my clients of my carpet cleaning La Jolla company to vacuum at least once a week.
So if you follow these steps you will surely be able to keep your carpets looking like new. And if you spend a ton of money in maintaining your carpet, that is the goal you want to attain.
